How virtual reality (VR) has taken our first aid training to the next level.
After completing our training to become certified first aid instructors, verified by the Nederlandse Reanimatie Raad (NRR) at Hippocampus, we were fortunate to form a partnership with them.
Through this collaboration, Hippocampus supported our project in several meaningful ways. They provided us with three AEDs at a reduced price, with part of the cost covered by Hippocampus itself. In addition, they lent us their VR glasses, offering the police an immersive experience of what a real-life CPR situation feels like. This innovative training tool added a whole new dimension to the trainings, helping responders feel more prepared and confident in emergencies.
