What if a local or traveler suffers a cardiac arrest?

In remote areas, where medical help isn’t immediately available, every minute counts. That’s why we decided to take action, together with Voja Travel who supported our project: AED Aid Santo Antão.

In partnership with Voja Travel, we’ve taken a significant step to strengthen healthcare on the island of Santo Antão. With their financial support, we were able to make a training trip and deliver two portable AEDs to the local police stations in Paúl and Ponta do Sol. Thanks to these AEDs, the police are now better equipped to provide life-saving assistance in emergencies.

During our visit, we did not only deliver the AEDs, but also provided life-saving first aid training to the police officers of these stations. With this step, we hope to create a future where the community is more self-sufficient and better prepared to act in critical situations.

Through this collaboration, we aim to showcase how collective effort can achieve great things. Together, we are building a stronger and safer Santo Antão: ”Uniting for health, Empowered by Unity”.

We are grateful for the support we’ve received from Voja Travel and look forward to more collaborations in the future.
